2010-2011 End of Season Tournament

Friday Night- 2/25/2011    

Coaches Seeding Meeting and Varsity Weigh-ins (no re-seeding will take place)

6:30pm-8:00pm

 (2/26 as back up should weather prevent seeding meeting to take place on 2/25)

Seeding Criteria

    1.            Most wins

    2.            Head to head competition.  In cases where three or more wrestlers have the same number of wins, this criterion will only apply if one of the wrestlers beat ALL of the others being considered.

    3.            Winning percentage

    4.            Number of pins

    5.            Number of technical falls

    6.            Number of major decisions

    7.            Fewest wins by forfeit

    8.            The wrestler placing higher in the previous year's tournament.  If the same finish, the wrestler returning closer to the weight class of the previous year will prevail.

    9.            Vote of coaches

Clinic Wrestling (2^nd Grade and under- round robin format)

8:00am-12:30pm

·         All rosters, weights and experience level (1-3) must be submitted to Rob Higgins by Tuesday night prior @ jtyflcoachhiggins@yahoo.com

·         All clinic wrestlers receive participation medals- NO PLACE WINNERS

9:00am-10:30am

Weigh-ins for JV (HS girl’s locker room)

·         JV Wrestling to begin at 1pm

·         JV wrestlers receive 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place medals

5:00pm

Varsity Prelims to begin (2 rounds)

·         Double elimination
